Ash is just a normal guy on a fishing trip when he is the first person on earth to come face to face with a mysterious new threat. Portals full of powerful creatures must be defeated and closed or these malevolent forces could break free and spill out into the real world. As the first person to encounter these can he learn what he needs to not only survive but help the rest of humanity learn and understand this strange new phenomena.
